Jamie always finds a way of inspiring others, believing in them, even when they don't believe in themselves. Jamie set up Turn2 Mentoring in 2020 creating change to the lives of children and young people with SEND needs, reducing inequalities within serving areas of Bristol.

Lisa has over 20 years experience of working with children and young people in many different settings, including schools, residential care homes, youth offending teams and HMP prison services as well in the community. Lisa is passionate about working with children and young people to allow them to flourish in their own way, whilst promoting growth and resilience.

Matt is a qualified social worker and
believes deeply in the power of education and supporting people to recognise and access their own incredible and unique potential.
Matt has a love for the great outdoors and is happiest when in nature or swimming in the sea. Matt has worked with young people and adults in many different environments and roles, since 2001, inclusive of Schools, Colleges, Pupil Referral Units, Charities, Local Authorities, Youth Offending Teams and Care Homes to name a few.

Lee has over 30 years experience within the field of SEND, Lee brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his sessions with our mentees. Lee is qualified in delivering and assessing ASDAN qualifications, as well as Carpentry, Bricklaying, Painting & Decorating and Motor Vehicle Maintenance, allowing him to deliver a wide range of skill set to our CYP. Access to varied provisions allows us to challenge and exploring the interests and capabilities of our CYP through hands on experiential learning. Lee is a passionate member of the team and strongly believes that given the opportunity and the right set of circumstances, ALL young people are able to realise their potential and enjoy an enriched and happy life.

Mel is one of our mentors. After graduating from the Royal College of Music, she worked as a freelance classical musician and piano teacher before becoming Senior Copy Editor at a company that publishes educational training resources for supporting children aged four to sixteen. During this time, she developed a passion for supporting young people. She has now been mentoring for over twenty years in schools, learning bases, residential homes and supported accommodation. Through building positive and trusting relationships, she strives to enable young people to become emotionally resilient, have a sense of self-worth, and to recognise and reach their potential.

Trevor has worked in the field of educational support in various guises for 20 years. Working in both Mainstream Secondary and Primary environments and Alternative Learning Provisions, managing and developing projects both in Bristol, the Southwest and South Wales. Trevor has worked with young people across SEND/LAC/Probation Service/Children Looked After, and more. Trevor has a broad experience of many minority groups through work within Bristol on targeted projects.
His ethos is to not judge but to listen and empower young people to walk their own path and develop into valued members of society.
Trevor has a personal love for sports, reading, history and time with his wonderful family and dogs.
